Home >> Programmes >> Support minorities (mentally challenged; dumb and deaf children): “A step towards integration”

India is holding nearly 1/6th of the world population and a large number of them are living below the poverty level. They have very limited access to the basic education as far as primary health facilities. Unfortunately, there are a number of children in these poor localities who are mentally challenged or disabled. Due to poverty and lack of resources, these children fail to receive due attention of their families and community. They do not get adequate support and motivation from the community to have access to basic education and develop their skills to become self reliant.

FCS Foundation works with various government departments for social and economic development of minority and under privileged communities.

FCS Foundation is managing and supporting schools, training centers and hostels for disabled and mentally challenged children with the intent to improve the quality of services provided. The aim is to support the disabled and mentally challenged by giving them the best opportunities for education, psychological support and rehabilitation in order to better integrate into society.

FCS Foundation has adopted Lady Noyce School for the Deaf & Dumb in Delhi by creating good infrastructure, computer labs and related equipments like audiometer, hearing aids, etc.
