India is the second most populous country in the world. Acceleration in economic growth has made India among the world's ten fastest growing economies. Yet, the country's per capita income remains low and more than a quarter of the population lives below the poverty line. Almost half of children under three years of age are malnourished. There continues to be high incidence of child labor and out-of-school children, girls remaining particularly disadvantaged.
FCS Foundation is a nonprofit foundation created to support India's most disadvantaged people by undertaking and supporting projects for social purposes throughout India. FCS Foundation acts as an umbrella organization for NGO’s to provide them with professional management, marketing and fundraising support. The mission is to positively impact communities by building relationships, developing skills and inspiring philanthropy. FCS Foundation pays particular attention to issues affecting children and education.
